For those who love scenery of silence and unspoilt nature, there are many opportunities to practice ski mountaineering: it is not by chance that the champion Katia Tomatis, who in 2018 won the victory of Pierra Menta, great classic of world’s ski mountaineering, trains on these mountains.
The slopes with various exposures, slopes and wide side valleys allow in fact an infinity of excursions, from the simplest to the most technically complex, which require, however, due prudence and the ability to evaluate the dangers and conditions of snow.
